Starling launched in 2009 as the newest part of FishHawk Ranch, with Centex as the first preferred builder. The Tennis Club opened by 2011, and the community welcome center moved there from Park Square.
Its parks and trails connect to the FishHawk Sports Complex and county preserve land. David Weekley’s The Commons in Starling has homes that face a park with garages off the alley.
Because Starling is newer than the original villages, roofs and systems are generally younger. The Starling Club, Tennis Club and Starling dog park are FishHawk Ranch CDD facilities, and district owners can use all seven amenity centers.
